Seminar: Quantum phenomena in nanostructures – News
News for prospective seminar patricipants
Every student who has registered for the seminar during the preparatory meeting (or by email prior to the preparatory meeting) will get a presentation in one of the three seminars offered by LS Kotthaus. The seminars on mesoscopic physics (S. Ludwig) and nanomechanics (E. Weig) have been shifted from Wednesday, 16:00-18:00 to Thursday, 12:30-14:00. Please check the respective seminar webpages for details.
Students who are interested in changing to one of those seminars are requested to contact S. Ludwig or E. Weig. There are currently 6 open slots in the mesoscopics seminar (S. Ludwig) and 5 open slots in the nanomechanicsl seminar (E. Weig) which will be filled on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Students who wish to stay in the nanophysics seminar should attend a second, preparatory meeting next Tuesday, 24.4.2012, where final scheduling issues will be resolved. Please check this webpage prior to this meeting: In case a schedule could be arranged for the remaining participants, the meeting can be cancelled at short notice. In this case, the schedule will be posted on this website instead.
All three seminars will start in two weeks, i.e. in the week of April 30. There will be no seminar presentations next week.
