The seminar discusses selected topics of solid-state-based nanostructures, complementing the class "Advanced physics of nanosystems: State of the art phenomena and experiments". On the basis of outstanding publications, we will explore state of the art experiments on electron transport, photonics and optoelectronics, electro- and optomechanics as well as spintronics.
Literature: Will be provided after the preparatory meeting.
For: The seminar is intended for 1st year master students.
Requirements: Basic knowledge in solid state physics, quantum mechanics and atomic physics. Attendance of the class "Advanced physics of nanosystems" is encouraged, but not mandatory.
