The results of the exam can be viewed at the office of Mrs. Herta Wiesbeck-Yonis, room 327.
The exam will take place on Tuesday, 3.2.2009, from 14:15 to 16:00 in room A348. It is allowed to use one sheet of hand-written notes (DIN A4). No other resources are allowed.
The lecture provides an introduction into the standard model of particle physics. In the first part the field theoretical foundations will be laid, including the method of Feynman-diagrams. Building up on this we will describe the gauge theories of strong and electroweak interactions and discuss important applications in high energy physics.
