  • Semiconductor nanostructures: general concepts of the electric field-effect and the manufacturing of nanostructures
  • Impact of dimensionality on charge transport (with and without magnetic fields): 2D, 1D, 0D (quantum dot) systems: Coulomb blockade, Quantum Hall effect
  • Novel low-dimensional systems: graphene and other 2D materials
  • Manybodyeffects in nanoscopic systems
