Content

The course will only deal with black holes and not with instantons. Preliminary list of topics:

  • Schwarzschild black hole
  • Reissner-Nordström black hole
  • Kerr-Newman black hole
  • Black hole thermodynamics
  • Hawking radiation and information paradox
  • Black holes with AdS asymptotics and in other than 4 dimensions
  • Black hole microstate counting in string theory
